Reliance Jio has formed a partnership with Plume, a company that offers network services and enhances consumer experience. As part of this collaboration, the telco will offer services using Plume’s scalable cloud platform, reaching around 200 million premises in India.
Through this new alliance, Jio will deploy HomePass and WorkPass consumer services using Plume’s AI-driven and cloud-based platform, which includes adaptive WiFi for the entire home, optimization of connected device and application performance, protection against cyber threats for connected devices, advanced parental controls, WiFi motion sensing, and more.
With access to Plume’s Haystack Support and Operations Suite, Jio’s customer support and operations teams will be able to quickly identify, analyze, and address performance-related issues, pinpoint the location of network faults, and monitor the overall customer experience.
Mathew Oommen, the president of Reliance Jio, stated, “As we continue to expand our range of connected home services, it is essential for Jio to provide our customers with the most advanced and secure in-home digital services, ensuring the best end-to-end customer experience. With scalable and cutting-edge platforms from partners like Plume, Jio will further strengthen and enhance our offerings and the overall connected home service experience.”
“This partnership with Jio represents a significant global expansion of Plume’s services with a major telecommunications force in Asia. Our ability to offer a tailored and highly scalable cloud-based solution to meet the needs of the Indian market will enable Jio to rapidly expand its range of services,” said Adrian Fitzgerald, the chief revenue officer of Plume.
