Throughout her decade-long career, she has collaborated with esteemed filmmakers such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Neeraj Ghaywan, Mira Nair, Dibakar Bannerjee, and Anurag Kashyap, starring in iconic films. Her filmography includes internationally acclaimed movies like the Indo-French production Masaan, which received two awards at the Cannes Film Festival.

Notably, she recently achieved the milestone of being part of a 100 crore film with Fukrey 3. Richa Chadha was also a jury member at the Marrakech Film Festival chaired by the legendary Francis Ford Coppola. She made her production debut with Girls Will Be Girls, a collaboration between India and France under the official co-production treaty.

Richa Chadha’s influence extends beyond the silver screen as she has emerged as a powerful advocate for women’s rights and empowerment. My journey in the film industry has been a roller-coaster ride filled with challenges, triumphs, and invaluable lessons.”

She added, “This honor is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the collective efforts of everyone who believed in my vision, from my family and friends to my mentors and collaborators. It reaffirms my belief that storytelling knows no boundaries, and as an artist, I have a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the global dialogue. I am grateful to the French government and the Counsel General of France to India for this recognition, which motivates me to strive for excellence and make a positive impact on the world through my work.”
