The Remarkable Performance by Jack Black

A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared a video of Jack Black’s astounding performance of Anti-Hero on Thursday. He thrilled the live audience by baring it all in his boxers, prompting cheers and applause. He then engaged with the excited crowd and even accepted song requests. When someone suggested Anti-Hero, he responded, “I’m familiar with that. It’s a widely recognized song.” He proceeded to sing Anti-Hero while the crowd’s enthusiasm grew. Although he momentarily forgot the lyrics, he continued to sing nonsensical words in the same rhythm.

Where did Jack’s Performance take place?

According to a report from the Variety, Jack performed at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. The Give Back-ular Spectacular! Show was held on Wednesday to raise funds for workers in the film and TV industry affected by the ongoing strikes led by SAG-AFTRA. Other notable celebrities who performed at the event included Dax Shepard, Jeremy Allen White, Bryan Cranston, Lily Tomlin, Halle Berry, and Rachel Bloom.

The SAG-AFTRA strike has been ongoing for more than 100 days now. Although the studios and the actors’ union have resumed negotiations, the actors have refused to accept the new offer from the studios. Jack Black has been an active participant, joining picket lines at various locations over the past few months. On one occasion, he even sported a “SAG-AFTRA Strong” T-shirt.

Jack Black’s next project is lending his voice to the titular character in Mike Mitchell’s animated action comedy, Kung Fu Panda 4. The film is set to be released in the United States on March 8, 2024. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has just released the re-recorded version of her album “1989” with five additional tracks from The Vault.
