Jr NTR On Oscars' Academy List Of New Member Class Of Actors

On Wednesday night, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled the roster of new member class of actors and guess who made it? None other than Jr NTR. An Instagram post titled, “Introducing Academy’s new member class of actors” was shared by the Academy on its official Instagram handle. Apart from Jr NTR, the lineup also includes Ke Huy Quan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Kerry Condon, Rosa Salazar. “These talented and devoted performers elevate stories beyond the boundaries of imagination, giving them a tangible, visceral existence that captivates audiences worldwide. With their nuanced expressions, compelling gestures, and authentic portrayals, they bridge the divide between fiction and reality, enabling us to identify with the struggles, joys, and triumphs of the characters they bring to life,” read the caption on the post.

A snippet from the post mentioned, “The Actors Branch welcomes Ke Huy Quan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Kerry Condon, N.T. Rama Rao Jr, and Rosa Salazar..”

Naturally, enthusiasts of Jr NTR were elated to find his name on the list. “So thrilled to see Jr NTR in the list,” commented an Instagram user. “Delighted that you have included Jr NTR and acting is definitely in safe hands,” added another. “Our Jr NTR from India is there. Jr NTR gained worldwide recognition after starring in SS Rajamouli’s RRR alongside Ram Charan. Talking about RRR, it dominated the international award season. At this year’s Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles, RRR secured two accolades – Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. Naatu Naatu also claimed the Best Song award at the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles this year. Furthermore, it bagged 4 prestigious awards at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, including one for the Oscar-winning track Naatu Naatu.
